Front of House Rig: Everything you need to start gigging in Mowbray, Western Cape for sale
This setup has served me well over the years but I am moving on and it needs a new and loving home. Everything is in good condition--some of it near-new--, easy to operate and packs easily into most cars. Perfect for a solo artist or duo and can easily be adapted to accommodate a 3 or even four-piece band. The following items are included:
* 2x Fane passive 12" speakers, each at 400W peaking/200W RMS, 8ohm. Though they are affordable speakers, the wooden housing really gives them backbone and the horns are well designed to give the high range excellent spread and clarity.
* 2x Samson Speaker stands.
* 1x Behringer EPQ2000 amplifier which puts out 600W a side at 8ohms (1000W a side at 4ohms), in spectacular condition. This is a great amp!! The ATR (Accelerated Transient Response) technology allows all that power to fit into a relatively compact and lightweight amp.
* 1x Laney CXP-110 active stage monitor. I love this thing, it is simply the best monitor I've ever had. It has a line-out jack which you can actually use to power another passive monitor.
* 1x Mic stand which is damaged but still useable (handle for the slider that extends it up/down is broken, so it's stuck on its lowest setting, which is high enough for a standing person. The angle and length of the arm can still be adjusted and I've put a plectrum holder onto it.
* 1x Behringer ProFX8 mixer with 7band EQ and built-in effects. Loaded with features, I suggest you google it for the full specs. It has a built in AD/DA converter and USB out so you can record directly onto your computer, no sound card required. Comes with aluminium protective case.
* 1x Audix OM3 dynamic microphone plus mic clip. This is the vocal mic of the setup and it's fantastic.
* 1x Senheiser E606 dynamic guitar microphone. This baby is designed to go in front of your guitar's amp and it picks up all your juicy voicing. I just hang it from the cable in front of the amp.
* 1x stage lights with professional colour gels and built in chaser (the lights flash to the time of whatever you're playing). I don't have a stand for this but it will fit almost any one. I usually place it on the floor behind my rig for a nice effect.
* All power, speaker and line cables are included. I know this seems like it should go without saying but at an average price of R150 per cable new, this comes to around R2000 worth of cables!! A few of them have Neutrix connectors which were in the realm of R100 just for each connector. There are also extra cables and adapters and a large plastic box/crate with lid that the amp and all the smalls pack into.
