Emes Monitors are hand built in Germany and come as matched pairs (within 0.5 Db). They are some of the most neutral speakers available and having worked on and sold Focal, Genelec, Dynaudio and other high end monitors (my previous staple was Focal Solo 6 Be's). I still prefer working on these puppies. Other users of Emes locally have been Goodluck, Dean Fuel, The Kiffness, Brendyn "Rusti" Rossouw of Heritage Sound to name a few.
The Emes Black Coaxial design (25mm tweeter sits in the center of the 6"driver) means gives you superior phase aligned stereo imaging and reduces ear fatigue drastically. These Emes Blacks can be mounted both Vertically or horizontally. These speakers have some of the best mids and low mids on a pair of near field speakers. 44Hz - 20kHz within 1.5 dB response. they are powered by 2x80w ( 160w rms each monitor) digital amplifiers Hf/LF which makes them very fast.

The D-box alone through Eastern Acoustics (SA) is R26 000.
